The CIFI Developers regularly update their development roadmap on the game’s CIFI Community Discord Server. The next update is currently scheduled to go live on the 12th of December 2023, titled the “V0.5 The Ouroboros Patch”
Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect in this update:
The Ouroboros Ship
The Ouroboros Ship will unlock a second tier of prestiging within the game, called “Traversal Reset”, this is expected to be a full game reset with some side benefits of course. Currently in the game, this is called a Cellular Reconstruction, but that term is expected to change with the December 12th Update as the developers shift towards travelling through the multiverse with the Ouroboros Ship.
Additional Content
The update will also add a ton more content into the game as-is, additional researches, shard milestones, academy content, more loop mods, more generators, quantum techs, as well as new game mechanics. Here’s what we know so far:
- 4 New Generators
- Quantum Tech Upgrades for the first 8 generators
- New normal Loop Mods as well as Ultima Loop Mods.
- New Shard Milestones
- 16 new regular Researches as well as 4 Ultima Researches
The Academy deserves its own list of updates:
- 3 New Planets (24 Campaigns & 9 Farm Missions)
- 6 New Materials & 2 New Material Exchanges
- 3 New Gear Sets
- 2 Construction Projects
- 12 New Construction Milestones
- 5 New Badges
In order to speed up the game’s pace a bit, the developers announced that all accounts will get the following bonuses to progression after the Ouroboros Path:
- x1.05 Mod Points
- X1.2 Shards
- X1.2 Research Points
- X1.05 Academy Points
- X1.05 Mission Materials
All of this new content will obviously get their companion upgrades in the diamond shop, so it might be a wise idea to save up on some diamonds as the update gets closer.
Price increase for CIFI Autoclicker
The developers also announced on the CIFI community dashboard that they will be increasing the price of the in-game autoclicker from $1.99 to $2.99 (by 50%) – this change will go live along with the Ouroboros Update on December 12th. So if you have been on the edge about purchasing the in-game autoclickers, this is the time to do so!
